THIRTY YEARS!
NEW RELEASE: A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM
Tiziana Moneta and Gabriele Rota celebrate thirty years of artistic collaboration with a new CD for La Bottega Discantica entirely devoted to Mendelssohn, with the Incidental Music to Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's DreamOp.21 and 61, Seven Songs without Words, Op. 62 and 67 (in the Author's original versions for piano four hands) and Duet Op. 92.
The Cd was presented in Turin for the Pantheon Association, in Milan (at MAMU Magazzino Musica and at "Verdi" Conservatory), in Modena and Bergamo.

PRESS WROTE ABOUT THEM:
… “The grace and agility of their interpretation was delightful, but it never ended in pure virtuosity. With total dedication they let themselves be carried away by the music until they reached an intensely felt and poetic expression.” …
Doris Steffens, BADENER TAGBLATT
… “It seems almost superfluous to underline the extraordinary compactness of the ensemble, the perfect completeness of the technical possession of their instruments, the always correct measure of the rhythmic choices, the very effective and often surprising variety of the contributions of sound and timbre and the wisdom of an extremely linear and immediate phrasing of the duo so solidly built by Tiziana Moneta and Gabriele Rota.” …
Gianluigi Gonella, L’ECO DI BERGAMO
… “The completely personal imprint impressed on the program of the pianists Tiziana Moneta and Gabriele Rota, both for the choice of the pieces and for their pertinent interpretation (which hits the mark), has left a notable impression.” …
Nikolaus Schneider, NEUE ZEITSCHRIFT FÜR MUSIK
… “The Duo of Tiziana Moneta and Gabriele Rota was admirable, engaged in the difficult work of Peragallo”…
Giuseppe Rossi, LA NAZIONE
… “Phenomenal concert by the Italian piano duo Tiziana Moneta and Gabriele Rota for the Wochenende für neue Musik” …
Alexander Dick, NORDBAYERISCHER KURIER
… “In the performances by the Moneta-Rota duo, one is struck by an appropriate gesture, a real feast for the eyes, a very fine taste, a very wide range of sounds: a truly thrilling quality of sound. “…
Vincenzo Cannone, IL GIORNALE DI TRANI
… “The Italian piano duo Tiziana Moneta and Gabriele Rota displayed their art like a magnificent fan to show off: the two musicians managed to give each composer on the program their own irreplaceable timbre. The technique of the two was impeccable, and the harmony of their ensemble was masterful.” …
Marion Gottlob, DIE RHEINPFALZ
“In this twenty-finger performance, a philosophical and profound Brahms emerges. This is due to an absolutely exemplary composer’s transcription, but also to the artistic maturity and exquisite musical sensitivity with which Tiziana Moneta and Gabriele Rota approached the composition.” …
